Please note: ADXL ad spend charges are applicable only for ADXL Delivery Campaigns. If you use your own ad accounts, the ad spend will be charged by your regular ad accounts, not by ADXL.

ADXL uses a strategic billing method to manage your ad spend. This article explains how ADXL charges for the ad spend. It will help you understand how the charges are applied and when you can expect your account to be charged or put on hold.

1. Charge Based on Account Balance

ADXL performs charge attempts every 3 to 12 hours, but only if your account balance goes negative by more than $10. If the balance is less than -$10, no charges will be applied.

2. Account Status Based on Charging Attempts: A Detailed Breakdown

The account status under ADXL's charging system is contingent on the success or failure of charging attempts and the credit balance in your account. This section provides a breakdown of the consequences depending on the number of unsuccessful charging attempts.

2.1. First Failed Charging Attempt

When your account balance is in credit over $10 and the first charging attempt fails, your account will continue to remain active. This is conditioned upon the total negative credit being less than the set threshold.

2.2. Second Failed Charging Attempt

Similarly, if your account still has more than $10 credit and the second charging attempt fails, your account will stay active, as long as the total negative credit does not exceed the threshold.

2.3. Third Failed Charging Attempt

In the case of three failed charging attempts, while your account is over $10 in credit, your account status will be switched to 'on hold'. This will only happen if the total negative credit is less than the threshold.

2.4. Failed Charging Attempt with Balance Over the Threshold

An important aspect to note is that if your account balance is over the threshold and any charging attempt fails, your account will be immediately placed 'on hold', regardless of the number of failed attempts.

This progressive approach provides account holders with multiple opportunities to settle their negative credit and maintain their account's active status. It's designed to ensure a fair and flexible system for managing ad spend and credit.

3. Account Status on Successful Charging Attempts

If a charge attempt is successful when your account has more than $10 in credit, your account will remain active.

4. Account Activity with Threshold Reach

If your account credit reaches the threshold ($25 by default) within one billing cycle, your ads will continue to be delivered. The total balance amount will be charged in the next billing attempt.

5. Threshold Management

The default threshold is $25. Depending on the quality of your account, this can be increased. You can also request an increase by contacting support.

6. Handling Accounts on Hold

For accounts on hold due to negative credit balance, ADXL will attempt to charge every 24 hours for 5 consecutive days after the account has been put on hold.

7. Seeing ADXL Charges on Your Statement

Any successful or attempted charges by ADXL on your credit card statement will be in line with this charging mechanism.

8. Pre-Purchasing ADXL Credit

You have the option to pre-purchase ADXL credit. This will allow you to better manage your ad spend and avoid frequent charges on your card.

9. Maximum Campaign Budget

The default maximum campaign budget (total for all campaigns) for any account is $1000. This limit can be increased based on your account quality or upon request to customer support.

10. Applicable Campaigns

The described charging mechanism applies only to ADXL System Delivery Campaigns. These include campaigns across platforms like Google, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

11. Inclusion of Taxes

Any government taxes such as VAT or GST will be added on top of the total ad spend during charging. For instance, if your negative ad credit is $100 and VAT is 5%, your card will be charged $100 + 5%.

Remember that understanding your billing mechanism will help you manage your advertising budget more effectively. If you need further clarification on the ADXL charging mechanism, don't hesitate to reach out to customer support.
