Running a successful advertising campaign involves tracking and measuring conversions to ensure maximum ROI. With ADXL, you can easily set up campaign goals that automatically create conversion events across multiple channels like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, Instagram Ads, and TikTok Ads.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help you set up your campaign goals for conversion tracking:

  • Log in to your ADXL account and navigate to the Campaign Details section of the campaign you want to set up the conversion tracking for.

  • Under the Campaign Goal section, select the goal that aligns with your campaign objective. If your goal is not listed, select "Other".

  • Below the Campaign Goal section, you will see a "Conversion Paths" text input box. Here, enter the URL that comes after a successful conversion, such as a thank you page, registration page, or checkout page. For example, you could enter "/checkout" or "/thank-you".

Here's an example

Let's say you run an online t-shirt store and you want to track conversions for customers who make a purchase on your website. In this case, you could set the conversion event to trigger on the "/thank-you" page which appears after a successful checkout.

When a customer completes their purchase and is redirected to the "/thank-you" page, ADXL will automatically track the conversion event for that customer and attribute it to the appropriate campaign and channel. This will allow you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising efforts and optimize your campaigns for better results.

  • Once you've set up the conversion action, ADXL will automatically create and track all conversions that happen on this URL across your selected channels.

  • Complete the rest of the campaign set up and launch your campaign.

Note that in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Instagram Ads, you can change the tracking URL or conversion action. However, in TikTok and Twitter, once you set up a conversion action for a campaign, it cannot be undone. If you need to change it, you will have to create a new campaign.

It's also important to have your ADXL tracking code installed on your website, or else the conversion actions will not be recorded.

Finally, the Attribution Window will be set automatically by ADXL's algorithm based on certain parameters.

Although ADXL currently does not support button or element-based conversion tracking, this option may become available soon.

By following these steps, you can easily set up campaign goals for conversion tracking across multiple channels on ADXL, enabling you to measure the success of your advertising campaigns and make data-driven decisions to optimize them for better results.

What is a Conversion amount?

In Google Ads, the conversion amount represents the monetary value assigned to a specific conversion action, like a purchase, signup, or lead submission. This value helps evaluate ad effectiveness by calculating the total revenue or value generated from these conversions. Tracking the conversion amount allows you to assess the return on investment (ROI) of your campaigns and optimize them for maximum profitability. This is especially important for businesses with defined revenue goals, as it directly links advertising costs to the financial results achieved.
