ADXL is an advanced audience targeting platform with AI-powered optimization across multiple channels. It also allows users to customize audience targeting for specific channels, such as LinkedIn Ads. This article explains how to optimize audience targeting for LinkedIn Ads using ADXL’s customizable features.

Follow these simple steps to create a targeted audience for your LinkedIn Ads using ADXL:

  1. Log in to your ADXL dashboard.

  2. Select and click on the campaign you want to optimize.

  3. Go to the campaign admin and information page.

  4. Under platforms, select LinkedIn.

  5. Click on the "Audience" tab to access the Audience Targeting Criteria section, which includes six main areas of optimization for easy use.

  • For each of the 6 areas of optimization, click on "Add New Criteria" and select the appropriate option and based on your input, ADXL will adjust necessary detailed options and set the best audience.

6 Main Audience Segments

  1. Add Interests

  2. Add Groups

  3. Add Skills

  4. Add Industries

  5. Add Titles

  6. Add Employers

After selecting an option and entering a keyword, click search to have ADXL find and display matching LinkedIn segments. You can add multiple options and save them. For one audience segment, you can include detailed targeting options from all six segments.

Here is a brief explanation of the targeting options available for each of the main segments

  1. Add Interests: Target members based on interests like marketing or technology.

  2. Add Groups: Target members in specific LinkedIn Groups, such as "Digital Marketing Professionals."

  3. Add Skills: Target members with specific skills, like "Content Marketing" or "Data Analysis."

  4. Add Industries: Target members working in industries such as "Finance" or "Healthcare."

  5. Add Titles: Target members by job titles, such as "Marketing Director" or "Sales Manager."

  6. Add Employers: Target members employed at specific companies like "Microsoft" or "Salesforce."

If you optimize your audience specifically for LinkedIn and later update targeting for all channels in the campaign builder, your LinkedIn-specific optimizations will be replaced by the new settings from the campaign builder.
